Highly talented young musicians preparing for a career in music are presented by the NJO with the invaluable opportunity of gaining ensemble-playing experience at the highest level. It's essential that they are allowed to work with the best conductors and soloists. The benefit of this transfer of experience to a new generation is of paramount importance to the future musical landscape of the Netherlands.
 
The NJO concerts are characterized by the essential elements of music: passion, combined with craftsmanship and technique.
